SEGOND DE DURFORT: Second Wine of Château Durfort Vivens (2nd Classified Growth of Margaux), Le Segond de Durfort is reaching position as one of the best second wine of Bordeaux. Gonzague LURTON according to climate has been able to convey this wine at its best owing to a very well monitored vinification. Nice deep purple red color. Fruity, berry fruits with elegant wood present and notes of vanilla. On the palate, fat, long, fine, a good concentration. The wine will be nice to drink in the next 5 years. One of the best ratio-quality- rice of Margaux.

Ch. CROIX DE REVERDI: This wine is very well made. Aged in oak barrels, Château Croix de Reverdi exhibits a deep ruby color. In the mouth some nice ripe red fruits with a touch of vanilla coming from the oak barrel.
CHÂTEAU LE MENAUDAT: Situated on clayey limestone soil on the hills of the Premières Côtes de Blaye, opposite the famous vineyards in Pauillac, is 15 hectares in size. Annual production comes to about 100 tons of a velvety and delicate wine. This property has been in the hands of Mme Edouard Cruse's family for over a hundred years. It is mentioned among the best growths in the Premières Côtes de Blaye as far as the 1868 edition of Bordeaux et ses vins as well as Château les Favières, the current name for a part of the vineyard.

Ch. PONTAC MONPLAISIR: The wine of Château Pontac Monplaisir presents a very deep red purple color. The nose is rich and fruity, developing aromas of red fruits well ripe and cocoa. On the palate, the attack is clear, the new wood offers notes of vanilla, the structure of the wine is robust. The wine is fat, remarkably fine with harmonious tannins. Very good length and finale suave.
