The first impression recalls a sun-dappled forest clearing, scattered with sweet wild strawberries and rustic mint.These hints of pine, bright berry and fresh herbs follow on the well-balanced palate, surrounded by soft suggestions of tea leaves and violets.Toasty vanilla winds itself throughout, wrapping around the finish: long, silky and elegant. 12 months in French and American oak.

|PETITE SIRAH, 2014 – $ 22.95
6 out of 7 vintages earned “Best Buy” status in Wine Spectator. Amazingly inky, deep Petit Sirah is Bogle’s flagship varietal. On the nose powerful boysenberry and blackberry scents with the trademark Bogle jamminess filling the mouth, a voluptuous finish lingers with toasty, vanilla oak and lush fruit. Firm tannins for aging but why wait!!

Three distinctive varietals combine lush berry and fierce spice into a wine characterized by its incandescence. Deeply luscious and succulent blackberries ignite this vintage of our rich ruby apparition. Bright Cherry Fruit dances with Black pepperand brawny juniper ,blackberry, and boyenberry join in. Take no prisoners mouth feel and all 4 varietals seem to come together and yet hold their own. 46% Petite Sirah, 40 % Old Vine Zinfandel, 11 % Cabernet Sauvignon and 3 % Mourvedre. 24 months in 1 and 2 year old American Oak brings out Spicy Vanilla and toasted coconut overtones with nicely modulated tannins. Unfortunately very limited!
